Job Overview:
Responsible for being the main point of contact and supporting specific regions ofa specific natural market. Heavily involved intheresolution ofday-to-dayissues involving servicing customer. Manage, direct, and coordinate all sales plans and programs. Create partnering relationshipsoftrust, integrity, customer satisfaction,and loyalty. Overseetheservicingof the accounts andmeetthe customer?s needs. Executetheexisting salesteam?splans and goals designed to increasesales andprofits and to minimize expenses.Monitor Key Performance Indicatorsandprovide recommendations toachieve operationalmetricsandincrease sales and profits.Ensure professional business relations exist with customers and their needs are met.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with all UNFI departments toensurethe Region?s needs are metregardingfill rates, promotions, on-time delivery, order quality, etc.
Ensurerequests, needs, and questions are promptly resolved.Follow upon all notices for action and new opportunities.
Coordinate necessary meetings and communication, both internal and external, to address any issues relating to servicingWFM and related accounts.
Provide recommendationsregardingimprovements inprocesses,sales and service delivery, programs, and procedures.
Ensureappropriatecustomer Regionaland Globalteams& stores are aware of UNFI processes, policies,and procedures, and other information relevant to the business.
Exceed customer expectations.
Coordinate planning and ensure implementation of effectivesales programs and policies.
Assist Senior Management with long and short-term sales strategiesinitiatives and programs.
Ensure sales planscomplementand supportestablishedCompany-wide goals.
Ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
Research and evaluate current andpotentialoperations and process opportunities, withfocuson those that impactsalesand execution.Develop recommendations.
Assistwithforecastingforvolume growthand related goals.
Assistin preparing the sales budget by sharing knowledge oftheregion and market dynamics.
Responsible forestablishingand maintaining professional business relations with customersand other contacts.
Ensurethesales process is professional and effective.
Ensure the Company's professional reputation ismaintained.
Maintain awareness of the Company's competitive position, industry trends, and the changing business environment
Job Requirements: Education/ Certifications/Experience:

Bachelor?s degree in business management (or a related field) or equivalent experience preferred
A minimumoftwoyears of sales experience is preferred.
Experience in developing and carrying out businessplansand/or sales plans
Experience in operations andlogisticspreferred

Experience withSystem Implementationpreferred
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite
Excellentwritten and verbalcommunication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Understanding of sales programs and related techniques
Understanding ofOperations andLogistics

Ability to interact at all levels of business
Able to manage and coordinate projects
Good judgment isrequiredfor this position,as there may be times when direct supervision may notimmediatelybe available.
Work Environment: Remote Role:
This position is classified as remote, where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.
Travel (minor):
This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate?s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI?s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
