Our client is currently seeking a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR in WI.

3rd Shift Production Supervisor

A growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead production operations, drive employee engagement, and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality manufacturing performance. This role oversees a team of approximately 20-30 employees and is responsible for meeting production targets while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
  • Week 1: Work Sun, Wed, Thu | Off Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat
  • Week 2: Work Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat | Off Sun, Wed, Thu
  • Includes alternating weekends as part of the rotation

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20-30 production employees to achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives.
  • Drive employee engagement, accountability, and cross-training to ensure operational flexibility and workforce capability.
  • Coordinate shift activities, communicate production priorities, and ensure smooth shift-to-shift handoffs.

Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures, GMPs, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation, quality, hygiene, and environmental requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve operational, quality, and safety issues while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor production performance and equipment effectiveness to meet production schedules and operational goals.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to prioritize repairs, reduce downtime, and improve reliability.
  • Support new product launches and leverage continuous improvement tools to optimize manufacturing processes and productivity.

Qualifications

Education & Leadership Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, distribution, military, or operations environment.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, or similar operational excellence initiatives.
