This job will have the following responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the facility's SQF program, ensuring ongoing certification and compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Develop, implement, validate, and continuously improve HACCP plans and preventive controls.
- Lead internal audit programs, including scheduling, execution, corrective action follow-up, and documentation management.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop QA Supervisors and QA Technicians through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Oversee daily quality assurance activities, including packaging inspections, seal integrity verification, weight checks, and label accuracy reviews.
- Investigate product and process non-conformances and lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Safety, or a related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of quality assurance experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience managing internal audits and driving corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems, including SQF and HACCP.
